Introduction

Aromatic leafy herb popular in Asian cuisine is grown in gardens and rarely escapes. Both green and purple-leaved forms are grown. The green-leaved form was collected once in a soil and compost refuse dump in Burnaby (Lomer 9075 @ UBC).
