Summary:
Piloderma olivaceum is like Piloderma fallax except that the fruitbody is colored olivaceous to olive-brown. Eriksson et al. are describing Piloderma croceum f. olivaceum (Parmasto) J. Erikss. & Hjortstam for which they give Athelia bicolor f. olivacea Parmasto as a synonym.

Piloderma olivaceum has been found in BC and Finland (Eriksson). It has been found in BC and AZ (Ginns).
Fruiting body:
thinner and more adnate [more tightly attached] than Piloderma fallax; olivaceous - olive-brown; "often with small drop-craters" in the spore-bearing surface; otherwise like Piloderma croceum (Eriksson), olive brown hymenial surface when dry, but in other features like Piloderma fallax, (Ginns(23))
