Included in IFBC Vol 1, but based on a single collection from Revelstoke in 1915 (J. Bain s.n. @ UBC), where it was introduced from east of BC. It has not been collected since. Historic.

General:
Perennial herb from a rhizome; stems erect, 20-60 cm tall, glabrous to sparsely hairy; plants with milky juice.
Leaves:
Opposite, simple, egg-shaped or lanceolate, tapered at the base, 3-10 cm long.
Fruits:
Cylindric pods lacking tubercules, 6-12 cm long, many-seeded with tufts of white, cottony hairs.
