General:
Tufted perennial herb from a taproot and a branching stem-base; stems 2-3 cm tall, sparsely hairy with simple and branched hairs.
Leaves:
All basal, compacted, oblanceolate, 0.5-1 cm long, 2.5-5 mm wide, hairy with tangled, simple and branched hairs, margins hairy-fringed; stem leaves lacking.
Flowers:
Short racemes 4- to 8-flowered; petals pale yellow, drying white, 3.5-4.5 mm long.
Fruits:
Silicles, 5-7 mm long, about half as wide, oblong-elliptic, glabrous, dark green; fruiting stalks shorter than silicles, spreading; styles less than 1 mm long.
