Introduction
This cultivated deciduous tree species is introduced in British Columbia. "Clones of the cultivated Lombardy poplar seem to be rather frequent on lakeshores in the Okanagan. FNA chose not to include P. nigra because generally only males are cultivated thus cannot be established." (BCCDC 2012).
