Biennial or short-lived perennial from a simple or branched stem-base; stems 1-several, simple or branched, 10-30 cm tall, glabrous throughout or sparsely stiff-hairy near base.
Leaves:
Basal leaves in a distinct rosette, spoon-shaped, 1-4 cm long, 3-5 mm wide, stalks usually not fringed, blades glabrous or sparsely hairy, simple and entire or with a few large teeth or some pinnately cleft; stem leaves few, short-stalked or unstalked, not ear-like at the bases, entire.
Flowers:
Racemes few-flowered (5-15); petals white to pale pink, 6-8 mm long; sepals glabrous, outer two slightly bulging on one side at the base.
Fruits:
Siliques, erect and angled away from the axis of the inflorescence, 2-4 cm long; seeds in 1 row, 0.75-1.0 mm long, wingless.
