Species Information

General:
Evergreen perennial in clumps from a compact rhizome.
Leaves:
Densely tufted, overwintering, the stipes of old leaves persisting at the base; sterile leaves spreading, oblong-triangular, 5-20 cm long, 2- to 3-pinnate, their segments oblong or egg-shaped; fertile leaves erect, narrowly triangular, their segments linear, 3-12 mm long.
