This species was recently reported for British Columbia by Frank Lomer. It is a species that is probably of mixed origins, both native and introduced. Plants found in Burnaby, in a waste pile, did not persist, and were likely introductions. Plants found at Deadman Lake north of Osoyoos in the Okanagan are probably native. It is a rare species in the province.
