Introduction

Eurasian ornamental tree is frequently used for street plantings (mostly males) and if hermaphrodite plants are present they will self seed abundantly. It is a pest around summit Park in in Victoria (Lomer 10500 @ V, UBC).

Also observed in Campbell Valley Regional Park in 2020, with numerous seedlings and small trees likely originating from seeds from a single planted tree. Overflow parking lot. In flower May 15, 2020.
