Hypericum maculatum ssp. obtusiusculum

General:
Perennial herb from a rhizome; stems erect, branched, quadrangular, glabrous, 15-100 cm tall.

Leaves:
Stem leaves elliptic, unstalked, obtuse, glabrous with a few scattered glands and black marginal dots, 1.5-4.0 cm long, 1.0-2.5 cm wide.

Flowers:
Inflorescence 20-60 flowered; petals golden yellow, with elongated black dots and streaks, up to 12 mm long; sepals rounded, about 5 mm long; stamens in 3 bundles; styles 3.

Fruits:
Membranous capsules, up to 8 mm long; seeds brownish, about 1 mm long, net-veined.
