General: Perennial shrub, partially evergreen; stems erect, few branched, up to 80 cm tall.
Leaves: Stem leaves rounded, unstalked, obtuse, 3-15 cm long, glabrous with minute translucent glands.
Flowers: Inflorescence few flowered, spreading on the branches; petals yellow, 6-10 mm long; sepals rounded, obtuse, unequal, persistent and deflexed in fruit; stamens about equal to the petals; styles 3, shorter than the ovary.
