Species Information

General:
Perennial with deciduous or overwintering leaves arising from a short stout rhizome.
Leaves:
Broadly lanceolate, 30-100 cm long, 5-30 cm wide, 1-pinnate, with one or several bulbils at the base of upper pinnae; pinnae deeply cut, but their segments attached to the body of the pinnae with a broad base, minutely sawtoothed-spiny with teeth ascending.
