General:
Annual herb from a taproot; stems decumbent to prostrate, 10-20 cm long, much branched from base; nearly glabrous.
Leaves:
Stem leaves oblong, oblanceolate to spoon-shaped, 2-5 (8) cm long, 8-15 mm wide, short-stalked, without earlike lobes at the bases, generally deeply pinnately lobed, middle lobes oblong to elliptic, 3-6 (10) mm long, 1-4 (9) mm wide, entire.
Flowers:
Inflorescence of ascending, glabrous to rough with minute papillae, 2-4 mm long stalks; petals yellow, 0.6-0.8 mm long, 0.1-0.3 mm wide, oblong to narrowly spoon-shaped; sepals 0.7-1.2 mm long, 0.4-0.6 mm wide, egg-shaped to oblong, not persistent.
Fruits:
Siliques, elongate-cylindric, curved slightly inward, occasionally outward, 3.5-8.5 mm long, obtuse below, tapering to apices, sparsely to densely minutely pimpled; beaks 0.5-1 mm long, broadened below, gradually merging into the pointed apex; seeds reddish-brown, 0.5-0.7 mm long, widely kidney-shaped, smooth, 20-40.
