General:
Annual herb from a fibrous root; stems erect, 1-10 cm tall, glabrous.
Leaves:
Basal leaves erect, linear and awl-like, 1-5 cm long, about 1 mm wide, entire; stem leaves similar, few, reduced.
Flowers:
Inflorescences racemose, open; flower stalks 1-2 mm long, ascending to erect; petals white, 0.2-1 mm long; sepals green, 0.5-0.8 mm long, erect, glabrous.
Fruits:
Silicles, narrowly elliptic to broadly egg-shaped, 2-3 mm long, 1.5-2 mm wide, inflated, glabrous; beaks obsolete; seeds oblong, about 1 mm long, wingless.
