Notes
What the heck is this? It was very long-lived, solitary & nothing was interested in eating it. Appeared on northwest side of a large Cedar beside a large sword fern. Approx. 3cm high--'foot' was irregularly shaped with longest point at 5-6cm & narrowest point at 3-4cm. The 'acorn' cap was about 1-2cm in diameter.
