Notes Measurements for this species done on specimens in 2005 and 2007 nearly identical. Corolla 20 mm. Upper lip 8 mm, finely hairy. Lower lip 4 mm, three teeth, not petal-like. Calyx 16 mm with two lobes, each divided into two linear 3 mm segments. Galea protrudes beyond bracts C. 3 mm. Bracts have one or two lobes. Leaves linear to narrowly lanceolate, the upper ones sometimes having small lobes. Bracts greenish-yellow to yellow with one or two narrow lobes. Stems often reddish and usually branched.
