Detail of inflorescence and flowers: shows a single short-pedicled flower in the axil of each upper stem leaf. Note the narrow young flower; tepals of older ones progressively spreading. Tepals show dark longitudinal ridges on inside surfaces. Stamens 6, stigma lobes 3, prominently reflexed. ID from illustrated Flora of BC.
