Comments	alpine scree, Karmutzen volcanics, ~1000m, approximately 20km SE of Mt. Zeballos. (In 2010 we saw just one G. platypetala at ~1400m in the Mt.Alava-Mt. Bate alpine which is about another 17km to SE. Tahsis is the closest community.)
