Distribution of Aglaodiaptomus leptopus in British Columbia in British Columbia

Introduction


Aglaodiaptomus leptopus is widespread in Canada and the USA (eastern Alaska, and south to Arizona in the west and Virginia in the east) (Reid and Williamson, 2010). It has been collected extensively in southern British Columbia, and from a few locations in the north (Sandercock & Scudder, 1994).

This species is found in lakes, permanent ponds, sloughs, and bog pools (Reid and Williamson, 2010).
