Distribution of Leptodiaptomus tyrrelli in British Columbia in British Columbia

Introduction


Leptodiaptomus tyrrelli is found in Canada east to Labrador, in the USA – Alaska, the Rocky Mountains west to the Pacific coast, and Kamchatka (Reid & Williamson, 2010). It has been collected extensively across central and southern British Columbia (Sandercock & Scudder, 1994).

This species is found in lakes and ponds. It is common in mountains, rarer at low elevations (Wilson, 1959).
