Introduction

Although this Asian shorebird has been photographed on two occasions in B.C., analysis of the latter record has led to some speculation that it pertains to a Lesser Yellowlegs. Nonetheless, a prior photographed record from the Queen Charlotte Islands firmly establishes the presence of this species in B.C. as an accidental visitor.
