Notes
The Sea Whip is a slender, very tall sea whip reaching 2.5 m in length. Common below 25 m on mud substrates such as the Howe Sound sill. Not capable of retraction into the substrate. One of the largest sea pens known. Identification by Dr. Gary Williams. See Williams, 1995, Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society (1995), 113: 93-140.
