Notes The White Sea Pen reaches 30 cm tall. Common on suitable substrates, generally below 20 m, along the BC coast. Capable of rapid retraction into the substrate. The BC Virgularia is closest morphologically to V. tuberculata, but may be an undescribed species, hence the "cf."
