Notes The Pale Soft Coral forms small colonies up to 10 cm across. Abundant in current-swept passages in sheltered waters and in surge-swept habitats on the open coast. Very common in Discovery Passage, Weynton Passage and Slingsby Channel. Also in surgy shallows of Barkley Sound. Identified by Drs. C. McFadden and F. Hochberg, 2003. See Invertebrate Biology 122(2): 93-113.
