Notes Desmacella austini. Thin bluish sponge encrusting a dead portion of a cloud sponge, Aphrocallistes vastus. Identified by Bill Austin. Khoyatan Marine Lab Accession #1284. Named in honour of sponge taxonomist Dr. William (Bill) Austin. Family Desmacellidae.
