Female, dorsal margin of postabdomen. The lateral fascicles of setules on the postabdomens of the smaller species of Alona and Coronatella can be difficult to see and to image. This image shows 8 such fascicles with the distalmost setule in each fascicle longer and stouter than the others, and the setules in each fascicle progressively increasing in length distally. In the distalmost groups of fascicles the longest setule in each fascicle projects beyond the dorsal margin of the postabdomen. Collected 30 Jul 2012.
