Notes
These lively and colorful shrimp are another species associated with the Crimson anemone, Cribinopsis fernaldi. They appear to be social, occurring in variable-sized groups. The green visible on the specimen figured is the developing ovary. When the green fills the carapace you can tell that spawning time is close. Photo taken with Pentax Optio W10 underwater camera submerged in shallow aquarium.
