Notes
The close-set eyes and paddle-shaped dactyls (tips) of the last walking legs are distinguishing characters of the genus Argis. Distinguished from other argids by the combination of having only two dorsal carapace spines and paired ridges on 6th abdominal segment not extending posteriorly to form small spines.
