Notes
The close-set eyes and paddle-shaped dactyls (tips) of the last walking legs are distinguishing characters of the genus Argis. Argis dentata distinguished by following combination of features; 2 dorsal carapace spines, paired ridges on 6th abdominal segment continuing slightly past posterior margin to form small spines, and eyes lacking prominent tubercle that splits cornea.
