Notes
This common hermit is commonly found alongside the hairy hermit (Pagurus hirsutiusculus). The olive-green color, and light blue smooth tubercles on claws are distinctive. I found this specimen in a tidepool with several others wearing the shell of the Purple-ringed Topsnail. Photo taken with a Pentax Optio W10 underwater camera submerged in a shallow aquarium.
