Notes
This commercially important species is generally subtidal, but it is not uncommon to find them in the lowest intertidal. The white individual is from an unknown locality and the juvenile was found along with over 200 others) when cleaning out a hanging oyster lantern pot. Two adult photos taken with a Pentax Optio W10 underwater camera submerged in shallow aquarium.
