Notes
Probably the most often encountered member of its family, the relatively wide shape, and shape of the telson (last segment) help distinguish it. This species has two quite distinct color forms. The first is found on Fucus (rockweed) and is most often yellow green but may also be mottled black and white. The other form is found on coralline algae and is mottled to match its background, even duplicating the growth pattern.
