Notes
Unlike most of its congeners, which are estuarine and/or shallow water, G. noblei is (in my experience) found in subtidal habitats and in purely marine water. This specimen was caught in a light trap in Auke Bay at 70 meters. She was with a much larger male in amplexis when caught (next photo).
