lat long - 44 44 22.92N 76 17 14.70W, typical fate of snapper nesting site in eastern Ontario -- destroyed by racoons, or skunks. This nest was in middle of "Cooper Drive", a private 1-lane track between Narrows Lock Road and Big Rideau North Shore Rd which traverses a wonderful typical eastern Ontario "ridge and valley" area of thin soils, rock outcrops, mixed woodlands, and extensive beaver pond wetlands.
