Notes Splendid tubeworm. This sabellid polychaete has a whorl of radioles held fairly stiffly and symmetrically. The leathery tube is often attached to sunken debris. Distinctive sub-distal eyespots are found on some of the radioles. Identification confirmed by Leslie Harris (Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County) from collected specimens.
