Notes
After a long and somewhat complicated taxonomic history it has been revealed that these 'forms' are the true Neptunea lyrata. The common light colored forms with the dark, distinct cords that have been regarded as 'typical' N. lyrata for centuries probably represent an unnamed species.Photo taken with the Pentax Optio W10 camera.
