Notes
Adult feeding chick. Nest hole was in a dead tree right beside he trail about 2 m off the ground. The adult was extremely tame returning to feed the chicks every few minutes despite people standing and watching a few meters away! Hikers on the trail were alerted by the creeling noise the chicks were making.
