Notes
cougar with fresh white tail deer kill captured on remote camera. Instead of caching the kill the female cougar dragged kill for 0.5 km before caching on a creek edge. She recached a second time approx. 20m distance. The reason for this unusual behavior was her having a second year cub in attendance. Hundreds of images were collected of interesting interaction between parent and cub thru three days of feeding on the kill.
