Comments	This snail was on the wall outside Whole foods on Cambie Street. It was the biggest snail and shel I have ever seen, except when I was in Switzerland. I tried to get some scale on it with my hand in the shot, it was about 2 inches in diameter, easily. Beautifully coloured too. The snail itself was easily 4 inches long before I tried to remove him to put him in a garden. IDENTIFICATION BY ROBERT FORSYTH.
