Comments Many dead fish litter the banks of local rivers, including the Fraser where this shot was taken, in the Fall. Salmon return to their home rivers to spawn, after which they die and become a feast for bald eagles, which can be counted in thousands in certain areas along BC rivers such as the Fraser or the Squamish River, where they congregate during Fall and Winter.
