Comments Numerous Cardinal Meadowhawks were flying around in the warm October sunshine at the side of Whyte Lake. This one landed on a jacket and stayed there for quite some time. Others deliberately chose to land frequently on jackets, jeans, or hands. Depending on the light, their wings glowed either golden yellow or red near their body.
