Comments	Gifford Pinchot N.F. Reviewed by Cris Guppy: "This is a female Anna's Blue, Lycaeides anna (subspecies ricei), from the Cascade Mountains of Washington, which should be stated in the Photo Location information. It cannot be L. idas, which does not occur in the area -- that eliminates one of three possible species. It is within the known range of L. anna and L. melissa. The relatively "faded" orange of the markings, despite it being a fresh specimen, indicates that it is Lycaeides anna. The high elevation is also unlikely, but not impossible, for L. melissa."
