This relatively thin arms and color help distinguish this species from other small 6-arms. The pink color pictured is common, but more often seen is a light to medium brown form. This seastar readily loses arms, so handle gently. Photo with Pentax Optio W10 underwater camera submerged in shallow aquarium.
