Comments	This chiton is quite similar to the very closely related Mopalia spectabilis, in fact genetic evidence shows the the two species only recently separated. M. ferreirai has denser, more 'moss-like' girdle hairs than does M. spectabilis. Photo taken with Pentax Optio W10 underwater camera submerged in tidepool.
