Comments Delicate plume worm. This is a fairly small sabellid tubeworm with a variously-coloured plume. The tube often hosts dense colonies of the commensal two-tentacle hydroid Proboscidactlya flavicirrata which form a ring around the open end of the tube. Identification confirmed by Leslie Harris (Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County) from collected specimens.
