Raspberry hydroid. This attractive hydroid was described in 2013 by Anita Brinckmann-Voss and Dale Calder. See Zootaxa 3666 (3) 389-397. This hydroid is found in strongly current-swept habitats such as Weynton Passage, near the north end of Vancouver Island and Discovery Passage adjacent to Campbell River. It hosts the predatory nudibranch Cuthona punicea, described by Sandra Millen in 1986.
