Comments Roll-top tubeworm. Image shows a cluster of tiny parasitic snails, Evalea tenuisculpta, near the end of the tube. These snails were identified by Pat LaFollette (Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County) from collected specimens. Evalea parasitizes a wide variety of molluscs and a few polychaetes.
