Comments	California lamp shell (brachiopod). Reaches 4 cm across. Found in very high densities in some fjords such as Narrows Inlet. Recent studies (MacKinnon and Long, 2000) have determined that the use of other names such as L. californianus and L. californicus is incorrect.
