Mapping Species Distributions

BOOKS: FIELD GUIDES, AND MORE...

There are several useful books and technical manuals that can help you identify our wild species. These may be BC-specific in their coverage or may focus on adjacent regions where species overlap. Species descriptions in these publications may be useful. Note that technical manuals cover all species in a region and provide taxonomic keys for identification, while field guides generally cover a subset of species.
